Harvey/Irma Disaster Relief
As we consider how to help those devastated by the historic flooding in the Gulf Coast, Caribbean, and Florida, above all please pray for everyone impacted by this storm. We say with the psalmist: “Help me, O Lord my God! Save me according to your steadfast love!” (Psalm 109:26). There are different ways to contribute to relief efforts for victims of Tropical Storm Harvey in Texas and Louisiana. Lutheran World Relief (LWR) is directing contributions to its trusted domestic partners, including:

Lord of heaven and earth, we know that You hold all things in Your hands. In Your mercy, provide for the needs of those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey and the rain that continues to fall, work through those who bring relief and aid, and protect all from any further harm. Draw all to the cross of Christ, who is our salvation now and always. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
